What's the relevance here though? Are you using this as a springboard to make a prediction on future revenue by way of word getting out to customers of a poor fee structure relative to peers?
To that I simply say, Zip and Afterpay have both been in Aus for years and have basically equal market share. So there isn't anything to suggest customers will stop using Zip based on fees.
Also I could say the flip side argument about how merchants will obviously eventually get tired of playing this 4-6% nonsense that Afterpay charges and once competition levels out, they'll simply jump ship to lower merchant fee BNPL companies.
However it's just as irrelevant conversation as the former topic, because it's all an opinion. So who cares?
