Makes no sense why they don't just throw the investors this one bone that they all seem to be interested in.
If they just announced US listing, it's one less major critique they'd receive.
I never even thought a US listing is necessary, because obviously Afterpay didn't need one. Yet it seems it might be for the sole purpose of shifting the sentiment of the stock in the minds of retail holders. Which is a good enough reason to list IMO.
