It is true they absolutely can't refer to the pilot arrangements before they've become executed - to give an example, in the early days of SZL the only reason investors found out about the Target pilot was from a YT video of the then Target CFO letting it slip in a conference or some gathering. After questioning from investors, the company just said they undertake pilots with various merchants but cannot comment on them until they are finalised. So it's pretty standard. The issue here is that you normally wouldn't be saying we're confident we're bringing them on before BF/CM unless they really were a done deal, which is why there is prob 1-2 more weeks left in this, but after that, if there is still nothing, it's a stunning mismanagement of investor expectations, not to mention precarious legal grounds for the execs.
