CBA have offered a blend (hybrid - CC and BNPL) of the two a while back, but not sure about other banks.
global banks won’t buy BNPL, unless they’re a fintech / neo bank.
local banks, as has been seen, rely on offset account CC and existing user base to distribute their own tech
banks have hardly lost out to BNPL as they’re the ones who also largely provide the warehousing too.
