Well let's assume a downramper is a shorter and an upramper is a holder.
Downrampers then prey on fear and emotional manipulation so that they can try and destroy something people have created so they can make profit.
An upramper expresses their own feelings of hope and belief for a company they're invested in. They also want a profit and are greedy like a downramper, however they don't attempt to tear down anything or anyone in the process. They might slightly inflate a share price (although extremely unlikely), but so what? That's better than deflating it.
A downramper makes it their mission to make other people feel bad and second guess themselves so that Mr downramper can increase their personal wealth. They're scum.
