You're idea of a catastrophic fundamental change that flips your sentiment, is if a couple good things happen to competitors and yet they don't happen to your investment. e.g. Square T/O, and Affirm/Amazon.

You then go crazy and cry "why isn't my investment rising too??" and come up with every "FA" reason under the sun to justify your new change in emotional outlook on the stock.

You actually delude yourself into believing you've made a change based on fundamentals, when in reality you've adapted the fundamentals to suit your new emotions.
