Judging by the above, if you're actually up 100% in your portfolio, then you will 100% lose 100% of that 100% gain.
Take this moment of shame to understand the term recession isn't thrown around just when one of the stock market index's dips for a few months. Like my god I haven't seen such a pathetic post in a looooooong time haha. Not even AlphaX can top that.
Here is the current definition for classifying a recession:
"The NBER defines a recession as a significant decline in economic activity spread across the economy, lasting more than a few months, normally visible in real GDP, real income, employment, industrial production, and wholesale-retail sales."
