they’ve been blaming the rebrand for the last 3 consecutive quarters
US customer growth has slowed for 3 quarters in a row, which will eventually (as it’s shown here), result in lower TTV, and then subsequently lower revenue and profits
the rebrand is part of this, but I think you will see soon enough, that competition is crushing zip.
to think Walmart, Shopify, Amazon and Klarna with Simon, and APT.Square, won’t have an impact on zip, is just foolish.
they have more money, more cash, more funds, more backers, and more opportunity and contacts to keep the foothold on the golden cash cow.
