Then you could say there would be no credit cards for the same reason. Plenty of people all around the world are financially responsible and use a credit card. The next generations (after Boomers) are put off by CCs for some reason and love BNPL. Even GenXers are huge users apparently. BNPL will continue to grow and the good customers will be retained. They will make all the future profit and the bad debts will be tiny in comparison.
