the USA business operates very differently.
au customers pay a monthly fee if they have a balance outstanding (nothing if paid in full)
USA pay $1 for each installment ($4 on each purchases)
sometimes more with zip exclusive merchants*
(with this fee it will never be a solid replacement for CC, imagine paying $4 on every transaction you make with a CC)
this difference imo is the number one reason for the decline in growth % from the USA arm.
