whilst i disagree, I see and respect what you are saying and will continue watching how this plays out with that in mind.
further to the previously differentiated product offerings of zip between AUS and USA, it seems Canada only offers zip as a payment option for partnered merchants. (i may be wrong but its what i can see from their site)
No one time card, pay anywhere feature like USA
No tap n pay feature like AUS
its basically the same offer as afterpay but with fees
word of mouth, perception will not play out well for zip canada imo
I suspect this is why zips google trend for canada is
looking the way it is.
even "dog shit" gets higher trending levels
