your example also omits the fact that Disney has always enjoyed significant fund and investor interest. It’s growth was not just from acquisition.
if my “opinion” was a poor one, then it looks like I, and every other analyst, fund soph, insto and “US investor” has the same poor opinions too.
whatever the narrative, your understanding of business is flawed, and it’s probably why you’re down there, and I’m not.
Comparing Disney to zip lolAlso, the multiples of zips acquisitions are higher than what it trades, and with a weak balance sheet, it’s hardly a sufficient and fair comparison.
I would happily show you a tonne of different failing companies due to aggressive acquisition strategies, especially small to mid caps
