Yep, the correct way to hold is not to spam internet forums, but to dump it in your draw and ignore until it's time for its annual checkup (or biannual if you can be f'ed).

You shouldn't be agonising about fluctuations in paper money, and diversified enough that you aren't getting slaughtered anyway (many other sectors are benefiting). Trading is a mug's game unless you're good at it, tax will eat at you and your diversification will suffer.

But most of the twits screaming hold aren't investors, they lack the patience for that - they're get rich quick pumpers hurting hard because they're balls deep on this one stock (or a basket of near identical eggs).
