Hopefully there is a bounce on ASX today. in my opinion we are getting close to the bottom but will we see a V recovery like we did in early 2020? I think not. 4-5 interest rate increases in 2022, high oil prices contributing to high inflation, GDP growth in the US for 1st quarter will not be anywhere like 4th quarter (circa 6%), full employment in US. Omnicron effects in 1st quarter in the US. Have I missed anything?
The Dow is only down circa 7% so there's still room for substantial falls from here. The NASDAQ and Russell 2000 are circa 20% down.
Need some big beats on mega companies in the Dow and Nasdaq otherwise it's down down and staying down for the medium to long term. years!!!!
