where do you guys get these narratives?
how about consumer spending has been hammered over the past 6 months, and with inflation at up to 40 year high in some parts of the world (including first world economies) , this will only continue.
in Australia, shopping dropped 39% in the first week of 2022, compared to the last week of December, and is now at its lowest rate since the start of the pandemic.
