alphax the point is, even if as you suggest there are some "bargains out there", why buy now when theyre going to be so much cheaper in the near future ?
I feel the whole paradigm is changing, now that money is becoming worth something again (ie you can get some interest).
A competitive advantage in being the biggest gorilla on the block, is proving to be bullshit, and actual profit is becoming important.

People are realising anyone can open a marketplace, and the best ones are those with the best products or services.
This impacts all the online vaporware companies, trying to sell a piece of their metaverse, or their coins or NFT's, as if its the only place to be.
the clever ones are those where theyve had their customers invest enormous time and emotion and have locked them in - ie the geneaology portals etc
Tech is changing so quickly, that little darlings like Canva are going to find it very hard to keep ahead. If anything, theyre going to end up stuck with legacy, or stranded, assets (software) that needs to somehow be written off (think Telstra, NBN, AGL).
