Yes that is pretty normal - which means the bulk selling and manipulation starts to settle down when trade volume is low. That is the best time to think about start buying if you wanted more as you know you are not buying when in mass fear and manipulation churn.
When you see volume low then the SP can actually do what it needs to naturally with less fear and manipulation - a good company the SP will move up over time and on news and company not doing well the SP will keep slipping down.
