Imo I think today is an over reaction to inflation fears in US. The inflation barely moved see attached screen shot
i don't want to be the person to say I told you so, so instead I will throw a conspiracy theory out there. Markets have seen how tech stock violently react to event a change in sentiment on inflation.
The theory is that very big and powerful market manipulators that have influence on media create these news stories about inflation and skew theessage to be negative and fearful. It's not lying. They give the actual 10 year bond rates but skew the message....tech markets crash. Knowing this these huge market manipulators have just created the ideal shorting opportunity.
A complete over reaction today and over the last month some of the news that's been pedalled has me thinking could this conspiracy theory have legs.
