Yes ZIP will need to raise capital, most tech ideas need a lot of capital to get to profitability.
The question I ask myself is how much more capital will ZIP need to get to profitability?
Simply wall street has it producing a profit of $16m in 2023 fin year,
So maybe a couple hundred mil to get us over the line?
I honestly don't think we need that much more.
Who's going to throw in a couple hundred for discounted shares in a company that could have 20m + users in a couple years. I would suggest a lot of people. Even if interest rates are at a crazy high 2%.
Short term thinking and trading is offering this to the big end of town at a nice discount.
