Did anyone try to grasp how much revenue the MASS-SPECC deal could mean?
There is a table on Transfer fees via Digital Channels published by the BSP and those fees vary a lot.
If 380,000 members accounted for 2,000,000 transactions in 2021 we could assume 2,400,000 transactions with the onboarding of 480,000 people in the first year.
If the transfer costs 15php and PIL receives half of that they end up with AUD 475,000 in the first year.
This can grow to AUD 1.66M when all members are onboard.
The first year will still not look great and more of those deals are required.
On the other side this might get bigger beyond those transactions and other effects kick in like widening user base and increase in usage of other services.
