[Sigh.] Yes. And A. Kain's yuletide dump remains an appalling affront.

However, I for one am still holding for the MASS-SPECC integration to complete and service to commence.

It's been a long haul, and just what the hold-up has been with that implementation is hard to fathom ...but I'm loath to exit now at what must surely be the 11th hour.

The promise certainly remains intact - indeed, the more so since we've heard the metric repeated several times now - most recently in the Stock Head article, Fintech Peppermint extends contract in ‘lucrative’ Philippines co-op health sector (17 August 2023), that PIL is "forecast to earn 10c for every completed transaction".

A reminder of the potential:

This agreement allows MASS-SPECC to launch its own digital transformation program via their PinoyCoop App where Bizmoto provides MASS-SPECC member-users access to EMI financial services such as transferring money from a co-op member's Bizmoto wallet to another bank account via InstaPay or PESONet.

Additionally, Bizmoto's EMI financial services will provide a convenient and safe means of completing 'cash-in' and 'cash-out' transactions aside from MASS-SPECC's Automatic Teller Machines ("ATM"). In 2021 alone, MASS-SPECC's ATM cash-outs accounted for almost two million transactions or an average of 166,000 transactions per month. The two million transactions were attributed to only circa 380,000 ATM card holding members of MASS-SPECC's 1.6 million individual members.

MASS-SPECC co-op members will also be able to access Bizmoto e-wallet financial services such as bills payment, including the collection of payment for local billers, electronic load and the release and collection of co-op loans. (From the 19 October 2022 Announcement)


Two million transactions attributed to only circa 380,000 ATM card holding members of MASS-SPECC's 1.6 million individual members - yes, plenty of growth opportunity there! And presumably branching and multiplying too, as more services are brought to bear.


Let's hope the implementation is completed before the traders enjoy yet another cycling of the share price at these lamentable depths.
