Well, I'm as keen as any to see the share price go higher, but it's probably prudent, as you say, given the vertical nature of the chart, the absence of any immediate real new news, and past performance (as noted by Martonis above), to lock-in at least part of this latest run.
The shares are certainly holding up well today in the face of a pretty tough market. Which is a great sign. So PIL probably has legs to go even further in the short term.
Let's hope so.
But I'm just a little dubious of all the traderly interest, which has a tendency to evaporate ...rapidly, when it happens.
What also gives me pause is the fact that before they were granted, we shareholders had never even heard of the two key Certifications required from the Philippines Central Bank. The lack of these had hitherto presumably been an impediment to the Company's advance.
Which leads me to ponder what other hoops remain unremarked?
I also too well remember an unseemly and unforgivable dump on shareholders by one of the Directors late last year. One can't help wondering how informed that sale of 10M shares was of the needed Certifications, and of the likely duration of the application process.
