I am not saying at all that the AI division has been earning $3.6 million pa whilst owned by XPN. Read my post again. I speculated that the difference between the $2.26 million revenue the business earned as part of XPN and the $5.5 million revenue announced by PIL could be revenue that it will earn by delivering inhouse services connected to the PIL loan book. That's called synergy benefits which every acquiring business includes in its feasibility study.
In any case, just because the business might have been burning cash while owned by XPN doesn't mean that it will automatically burn cash while owned by PIL. One needs to distinguish between operating costs and non-operating costs. PIL's announcement is that operating costs will be $160K per month. That tells me PIL will not be incurring some non-operating costs connected to the business that XPN has been incurring.
