Highly contrived trading at 4.10 pm after basically nothing happened all afternoon. The outcome has been to finish the day 0.3 c lower.
The chart pattern isn't inconsistent with that of previous sharp rallies but it does raise a question as to how far the move will run. My take now is therefore that this is a trader manipulation rather than insider knowledge, though the possibility of the latter is a nagging consideration. Many shareholders are looking for a substantial report at the end of the week, and if it is anything like previous efforts disappointment will follow.
