I personally wont be happy till I see those download numbers in the 10's of thousands especially when Mass-Spec coop worker numbers are in the millions.
I guess PIL have their hands tied & are relying on what Mass Spec produce. Hopefully they got something out of the convention to get things moving. That 1st July deadline becomes crucial in the scheme of things. Time is not on there side & revenue is required sooner rather than later.
