This widely trumpeted promise of a wonderful golden future (in a year or so's time) for PIL will have attracted not only the true believers but also other players in the fiield. Right now they are cash flow positive operators and alert to improve their bottom lines at the expense of would-be competitors.
There is, as a result, an iron-clad test of the hoop-la.
Will there be a takeover bid, one way or another in the near future?
If so, it will be proof that they too believe what is being promised will indeed fold positively into the bidder's operating system for no-risk benefit. At the current PIL capital value, it will be a steal.
If not, the same operators have looked over the offering, judged it as hype, and be quite satisfied PIL will slowly fade into the not-so- distant sunset.
