The core of PIL's story was the opportunity it was going to provide millions of Philippine citizens without ready access to a banking facility that opportunity, by way of the massive Cooperative organisation MASS- SPECC.
What have we seen - floating the wallet to a relatively piddling Pinoy Corporation midst great hullabaloo.
My guess is that whoever was given the job of getting the right people on side just hasn't been up to the task, and trying to weasel out of the mess by putting over a line of AI bull is too inappropriate, too little, too late.
Now PIL is a play toy of traders even to the point of manipulating the day's outcome by buy/sell one share.
What is further a puzzle is how the top 20 shareholders seem quite happy to sit on the mass of worthless paper without apparently a whimper.
