This is getting stupid and i definitely don't i agree with you there.

Context is everything.

Bruce and co make very modest salaries in comparison to ASX listed companies (even compared to some plumbers i know). Not saying they are poor, but given some other companies pay teams of 5 or more in excess of 300k each with addition equity bonuses and performance rights, bruces 180K with none of the fruit seems almost like a mid-teir public servants wage, than a guy developing a 4 billion dollar company. especially when you allow for tax and super... he's paying himself 118k a year. I bet people have made more in trading VRX stock than he makes in a year. Again, my plumber makes for than this.

So when bruce handed over his 1.8million bucks worth of shares (at 30c) after building the company for 10 years to a giant international firm that continued to buy on market and haven't sold a single share..... i'd say he was considering shareholders interest. Gave himself a little bonus to go buy the mrs a new volvo and maybe pay down the mortgage..... jeff besos he is not..... yet.

Reality is you can't have it both ways. You can't say Bruce is selfish....and get an erection every time Delphi buy another 1% on market.

People are literally giving their shares away to a german hedgefund at a discount to what they are clearly prepared to pay and then accusing Bruce of being short sighted...... the mind boggles.
