Sounds like you might have suffered 'sunk cost fallacy'. I imagine you would have been way better off selling out at, say, 25% loss than riding it down to 2 cents and then riding it back up. Still, I make those sorts of calls often and seem to often miss out on wins - only yesterday I sold three losing holdings to drop it all on a new speculative venture - time will tell if this was good or bad thing to do.
