It is totally irrelevant. As I am one that watches the live market open and close, it is the first and last 10 minutes of the day that always gives the signal.
Who is going to take the time to declare their hand over the New Years' weekend placing an order in the system? It certainly isn't the pro's, who laugh at the Mum and Dad posts on Hotcopper. It Might the very few bored retail traders, and that's it.
You must be a really bad poker player! Trying to read the tea leaves on Sunday is an utter waste of time.
We had a very positive update on New Year's Eve before the market close. If anything, things are looking even more positive if you read carefully.
You cannot argue with the fact that demand outstrips supply by an unsurmountable margin, and will continue to do so, and that simple fact helps negate any exchange rate fluctuations among other factors. Additionally, they should be factored into any off-take agreement.
This is one commodity that is rare as hens teeth. It seems to be everywhere, but the vast majority is totally unsuitable.
