I agree Sheps. You only need to look at our Asian neighbours to see what drastic effects on ecology poor mining practice has. I am all for due process and Australia has a robust system of dealing with matters of environment.

That said. There is always a way to offset damage or use a situation to one's advantage. Adani knocked back due to its massive footprint at the time.... Lodge a smaller proposal and increase from there. Sound familiar to ASN....
