Arion, so why were cars cheaper in asia? even after our cars were hevily subsidised? coz of wages!

BTW, my datsun 180b in 1976 cost me $4,100.Weekly income for a junior clerk was $100 per week. Holdens were dearer than a datsun 180b too . So your numbers are out by some distance.
