Who ever setup the Australian car production , should be recognised for the effort
200 cars more or less produced a day in a country hard to find those days, is a big achievement.
Those cars build Australia’s economy
Every single part had to be pressed by hand and if you had A look in the paint shop , more than 12 people was dressed like astronauts do the painting.
No automation at all
We have more of what is required to build cars here
But to spend 30-50 billion $$$ to setup mass production, no one will invest those money .
