Hi Folks,

I bought the 197,507 options at 7 cents. It does seem expensive compared to the heads but the context is where you expect the future price to be. My call is that we should be at $1 sp by EOFY as one of the projects will be in production or just about to start.

For fun, I have made a comparison of the purchase I made against spending the equivalent on heads and you can see that, with my target, there is a massive gearing gain with the options. Of course if my target is wide of the mark, I'll either make a motza more or potentially lose $14k.

I was slightly surprised to see the % profit improve a little if I sold oppies to convert rather than used external money - probably an error in my spreadsheet logic somewhere. In reality, if, at that point, I expect the sp to go to $2 (which I think will be my position) I will be finding the cash from elsewhere.
