Ironically, the uber driver the night before was retired. Spent 20 years as a super yacht driver. Had extensive knowledge on models and maintenance as well as weather/seasons in quite a few locations. Guy had done some extensive traveling. He was doing uber driving as a part time gig (in a merc).
Most ppl paid him cash, as did I. It was $47 for about 20 minutes, $3 tip.

That equates to about $141 p/hr, not including fuel, wear and tear and the time for wherever he had to return trip too.
