I think that the market response is based on the assessment of Bruce, and how good his word is, rather than the delay itself. He may have been a little ambitious at times re deadlines (which are near impossible to predict when dealing with third parties) but he is generally very open, and to date his statements about company developments have been quite reliable. Some companies (a few companies with dodgy management come to mind) would have put out a similar statement and seen the retrace you predicted imo,
