Skimming through this, so may well find other curiosities, but Section 11.2 DETAILS OF PROPOSED OFFSET is interesting.
If I read this correctly, effectively, we are offering up the remainder of the A/N mining lease area as a protected and managed 30-year cockatoo habitat offset. We've flagged our intention to mine the area in Year 31-100, but for now, it can we held as a greenie-placating safe space for endangered birds.
That's actually pretty clever.
