Whilst I take note of the short sell list uts I wish there was a list of short positions as of close of the day. Whilst a believer in this stock I do trade it both ways. Note my sentiment. I will short PDN and others with CFDs intraday but rarely hold shorts overnight. This market has been too crazy for simple buy and hold of late though it has been a great week or two for the bulls.
Point being that many of the short positions may well be day traders like myself who are in fact buying back before close.
I agree it would be good to have a more accurate picture of the true short situation at any given time.
Volumes have really dropped off the last two days so IMO most of the LT short positions are now closed. Needs a fresh round of buyers seeing value to push this up again.
