Non rights issuing of shares (outside the share registry) is the greatest ongoing heist of shareholder wealth in the history of capital - yet here we are in 2024 and the ASX and our corporate laws continue to allow it to happen with gay abandon and nobody seems to notice, or they excuse it away for this or that reason. (Oh it happens in large caps as well.. don't worry about that!!! ) Some of the biggest of them all ! Instead we are obsessed with a few dollars here or there being ripped off little mums and dads in bank fees (so we hold royal commissions on this sort of minutia) yet the same mum and dads have super fund stakes that are being ripped off 1000's fold more in the markets, and nobody seems to care!!!... I guess it's the same as your dollar spending power right? A few astute people notice over time slowly gradually with inflation the money they have no longer affords the same value in goods and services. That over a 10 year time, 100 dollars doesn't buy the same things and their standard of living has fallen.. But most of the population are clueless on this devastating effect of inflation... It is exactly the same effect when companies issue more shares (but don't grow their capital...) Exactly ... Why some investors don't understand this fundamental concept in assessing companies is frankly gobsmacking Anyway Just MO
