I wonder how many RIs following HC have invested way more than they should have with a stock they have fallen in love with, my hand straight up for that one.
Then thumb up what we like to hear and ignore what we do not, no matter if it even has substance. Your post is one of the latter, 3 likes and no GAs is a prime example. Then the wish we had ‘listened’, just human nature.
Perhaps way too much focus on the end prize and very little on the realties of getting to that point, never more so evident than right now.
I have followed three stocks closely over the years; Ahz/Avr, Ado and Obj/Wlf; one observation I have made is the amount of ‘love’ for these stocks, thumbing up anything that we wanted to hear and ignoring the opposite. One amazing example was Obj, 5 cents or so at the time, a very respected poster suggested a sp of 35 cents or so, from memory, 64 likes before that poster deleted his post.
Each stock had a honeymoon period, Avr@$170 & @$30, Ado@24 cents, then later @40 cents, Obj I think got up to 12 cents. Sp sensitive announcements were exactly that, but what happens when a Company then does not deliver on its projections?, they end up where they are currently, Obj/Wlf finished.
NASDAQ listing Anteris’s chance to start delivering on its company projections?, at the minimum will give the Company a new lease of Life.
