Co-op, with all of its imperfections, capital limitations, opinionated suppliers, etc etc is still the only vehicle to come close to delivering value to farmers.
Of course they plan to weaken the co-op. Look at all of the profit warnings from wcb over the past decade where they lay blame 'having to pay high price for milk' or along those lines.
Bit of a messy meeting last night from what I hear. Western district farmers are getting a bit of a reputation.
