I liked this post and share the observations. I know there are strong feelings about giants like Aldi eating TRS lunch, and maybe proved right but I'm not convinced. I just love the idea that Aldi engage WOW and Coles in full battle dress while at the same time paying humungous rents to major centre landlords like AMP. I see TRS positioned quite differently - in my case they have a store at Dee Why Sydney - you need a hunting dog to find the store which is in a low rent arcade, but it's thriving in the price conscious sector. Who in their right mind would get on a bus to go to Warringah Mall to buy the $10.00 worth of stuff from one of the big elephants, Target, Aldi, BigW? Anyone disagree with this I would love to hear views.
