Maybe you are being alittle harsh on FAR after all they just wanted clarity and complience with the JOA.
CN never wanted to buy the company they just wanted to be allowed consider PE of the asset.
CN's throw away comment regarding not knowing the assets or liabilities of the company is just further proof to me, that COP were playing hard ball by not separating out the asset for reasons only known to them,
FAR only wanted transparency and 30 days to declare their intent.
Must admit I do not blame you for feeling dispondent at the moment.
