I'm pretty sure that isn't supposed to come off, can anyone confirm its a huon pen? Looks like more than some piping, surely huon should made an announcement to disallowed as this would be market sensitive puts in doubt the whole storm bay expansion. The tassie anti salmon movement was already strong enough without this. Reports of 250k fish and the ones the fishermen were catching looked like 2kg so like 500tonnes or 2% of the biomass

Can confirm it is NOT a huon pen. I’ve been told it’s something that holds the net up inside a cage to stop birds.

As for the 250,000 fish loss, I’d just wait for huons statement. Greens said 600,000 but I don’t believe a word they say on this issue.
