Yes Yaq, I agree with all of that...but isn't this the whole purpose of investing?
I have invested in Company A (at coy A prices) because I see the future potential of Company B...which my NPV suggests is worth approx 30 cents.
Is NPV dead set accurate?
No...but it's a pointer in the right direction as to future intrinsic value and over time, markets move towards underlying value.
When? I don't know.
