CY13 is the year we recommend investors have exposure to ‘big oil’ plays in Africa given the regional drilling activity which is set to take place by international and ASX listed operators. Specifically we are bullish on two regions, onshore East Africa and offshore Morocco both which are relatively underexplored and could potentially host billions of barrels of oil.
•East Africa is seeing a scramble for O&G resources spurred by the stunning discovery success rate seen both offshore and onshore in recent years. In particular onshore East Africa, along the East African Rift System (‘EARS’) is attracting significant industry attention and investment
