Singlemalt, in my opinion there is no deal that can be worked out between Superior and CYL at time. Metaphor from wild Kingdom for this scenario is lion(SGI) moving in for kill on wounded zebra(VAN) then a johnny come lately jackal(CYL) show up and think it going to feed on the dead zebra before the lion gets its fill from dead zebra carcass. A bit presumptuous of the jackal don't you think?
