@pintohoo; Morrison could not have performed much worse than he has done.

After following Trump's lead and banning travel with China on March 1st, 2020 Morrison refused to do anything like that with other Covid ravaged countries including Italy at that time.

Not until March 27, 2020 and only after strong public pressure from the likes of Daniel Andrews did Morrison relent and agree to close Australia's borders - at least he told Australian's that's what he was doing, except he did no such thing. We now know he allowed countless hundreds of thousands of people to travel abroad and to return to Australia from Covid ravaged countries including the USA, the UK and India throughout the pandemic even though they were not fully vaccinated.

This is what was reported just five weeks after he claimed he'd closed Australia's borders:
