As an individual, I personally do not agree with the lockdown. The long term costs and impacts are not clearly justified in my opinion.
As a doctor, one who has looked after an unfortunately high number of covid patients, some of which have passed away, I have to be clear that this is a very real virus. A majority of infected are not acutely unwell, but the severe cases are more common and a direct disease mechanism compared to influenza.
