The race is on now, they have let China and Russia expand too much into THEIR nuclear market and they have a lot of catch up to do.

The Yanks love a fight and that is what they have got, their ego's can't let the other side win, their future prosperity depends on it.

Energy is key to everything we do and global demand is growing at a fast rate. Really, this funding is peanuts, $65mil over 93 technologies in 28 states, most of it will be spent on administration.

This is just another cog in the machine, which is necessary for the ascension of nuclear power in the USA. The successful growth of this industry will depend on staff and their expertise, they need to spend this money in the universities to help fill the skills gap that has been created by years of inaction, it shows they are serious about Nuclear Energy.

So the article is a sign of long term commitment switch to nuclear power. IMO Buckle up!
